The 2012 vintage was born out of ideal growing conditions in the Walla Walla Valley, with the back half of the season bringing the “perfect average” in consistently warm temperatures followed by a gradual and predictable cool down into a late September harvest.
This vintage shows a strong backbone of black & white pepper, bacon fat, smoke and other earth tones. The “Rocks funk” offers its trademark complexity and will continue to develop over time, while 14% new French Oak rounds out the full-bodied structure with a touch of warmth, sweetness and elegance.
