100% Chardonnay

Sourced from one of the most prestigious Chardonnay vineyards in Washington State, Celilo Vineyard. Barrel fermented with native yeast and sent through partial Malolactic Fermentation. Aged in French Oak Barrels, 22% new french oak, 78% second fill.

Barrel-selected and aged for 12 additional months in LeGrand and Boutes puncheons with medium+ toast.

Notes: Aromas of espresso, dark cacoa melding into smoked meats and green olive. The silky-smooth tannins are lifted by the surprising acidity running from front to finish.

This wine is big and bold, yet effuses the elegance of the 2018 growing season. It has powerful aromatics that pull you into the glass. The tannins are polished, silky and feel smooth on the palate. The fruit offers purity, symmetry, and vanilla sweetness, along with spice, iron, crushed rock, pepper and herbal accents.

Deep ruby-crimson colored, this tenth vintage strikes a balance between the floral aromas of the 2016 vintage with the savory aromas of the 2017 vintage. The 2018 Estate Syrah emits aromas of wild fruits–strawberries, blackberries black currants–with scents of black rose, olive tapenade, pipe tobacco, lavender, and spiced incense. The pure varietal flavors are infused with black licorice, cocoa powder, and cobblestone. The back palate reveals pressed berries, roasted hazelnuts, blueberry preserves, and ground charcoal, followed by a long, juicy ripe tannin finish with drying acidity.
